Brooke Ward Commits
Commitment Announcement: Brooke Ward Joins Wesleyan University!
We are excited to announce that Brooke Ward, daughter of Bruce and Kimberly Ward, has committed to Wesleyan University to continue her hockey journey and pursue a degree in Engineering starting in 2025!
Hailing from Barrington, IL, Brooke joined Dallas Stars Elite for her senior year and has made an incredible impact with her hardworking, focused, and driven approach to the game. Known for her love of competition and her ability to inspire her teammates, Brooke exemplifies the qualities of a dedicated athlete and a true team player.
Reflecting on her time with DSE, Brooke’s favorite memory is exploring the Texas State Fair with two of her closest teammates. “It was such a fun way to experience a little of what Texas is like,” she shared, highlighting the friendships and experiences that have made her season unforgettable.
Off the ice, Brooke keeps things lighthearted, revealing a fun fact about herself - she has a fake tooth. Her sense of humor and unique personality are sure to bring energy and laughter to her new team at Wesleyan.
As Brooke transitions to college hockey, we are confident that her work ethic, competitive spirit, and drive to excel will lead to great success both in the rink and in her studies. Congratulations, Brooke, on this incredible accomplishment! We can’t wait to see all that you achieve at Wesleyan University.
