Skye Gonzalez Commits

Commitment Announcement: Skye Gonzalez Joins Marian University!

We are thrilled to share that Skye Gonzalez, daughter of Carmen and Daniel Cole, has committed to Marian University in Wisconsin to continue her hockey career and pursue a degree in Nursing starting in the 2025-26 season!

Hailing from Midlothian, Skye has been an integral part of the Dallas Stars Elite family for an incredible nine years, starting her journey with DSE in fourth grade. Known for her leadership and ability to energize her team, Skye has consistently been a source of inspiration and positivity both on and off the ice.

When reflecting on her favorite memory at DSE, Skye recalls an unforgettable moment at high school nationals: “Playing hide and seek in the dark in the conference room with my teammates.” It’s a testament to the strong bonds and camaraderie she has built over her years with the team.

Skye’s dedication and passion for hockey are matched by her commitment to making a difference off the ice as she prepares to pursue a career in nursing. Her hard work and leadership skills will undoubtedly make her a valuable asset to the Marian University hockey program and beyond.

"Skye brings energy to the rink every day and is always flying down the left wing. A top scorer and a cornerstone of the DSE Girls program for many years, her passion for the game is contagious. She is a natural leader who not only competes at the highest level but also brings fun and excitement to every moment on the ice."
